DUSCHOLUX is winner of the iF DESIGN AWARD 2021.

DUSCHOLUX has added a new chapter to its long history of design awards: The Air 3 shower wall received an iF DESIGN AWARD 2021. In the “Products/Bathroom” category, the innovative fastening method of the Air 3 shower wall won over the jury of experts.

The iF DESIGN AWARD is one of the most prestigious design awards. Since 1954, the award has been presented annually for achievements in product design. Products from DUSCHOLUX have already won the iF DESIGN AWARD several times, starting with the free-standing Life Free in 1990.

But how are the winners determined?

An international, independent group of 98 design experts evaluated 9,509 entries from some 3,693 participants from 52 nations. For three days, all contributions were assessed, discussed and evaluated online.

In the final judging step, each entry is evaluated by a group of three judges who have five criteria for which points can be scored. The questions help them to determine the score for each criterion. The average for each criterion is calculated and the sum of the average is the final result for the submitted entry.
